Shenzhen's future-city spots are spread across three districts. Trying to see everything in one day means rushing. Instead, we group them into three half-day routes — each about 4 hours — so you can pick one, or combine two into a full day.
About 4 hours · electronics, robots, flagship stores
Start at Huaqian Electronics World — the largest, cleanest electronics market in Huaqiangbei. Walk a few rows to get the feel of the component market, then head to UpperHills (深业上城) to visit the DJI and Insta360 stores. End at the EngineAI humanoid robot showroom nearby, with a short stroll through the UpperHills neighborhood.
About 4 hours · robotaxi, drones, 3D printing, night view
Start at OCT Harbour (欢乐海岸) for the DJI flagship store, then ride a Baidu Apollo Robotaxi (driverless, no safety driver) to Shenzhen Bay MixC (深圳湾万象城). There you'll find the Bambu Lab 3D printing experience center, an Inno100 tech store, and drone delivery dropping food. End with Shenzhen Bay night view.
About 3–4 hours · jewelry, old Shenzhen
A contrast to the tech tours. Start at Shuibei International Jewelry Center (水贝) — the jewelry capital where gold and jade are traded wholesale. Then walk through Dongmen Old Street (东门老街), the old commercial heart of Shenzhen, for street food and local life.
You can combine two half-day routes into a full day — for example, Futian in the morning and Nanshan in the afternoon, with a lunch break in between. Pickup from your hotel in central Shenzhen is included.
We run private English-guided half-day tours on all three routes, with hotel pickup and photos included.
